In this virtual COP, WRI Indonesia will present the findings of the current peatland management landscape in Malaysia. The findings are collated from desktop reviews and online meetings/interviews with peatland stakeholders in the country. In addition, all COP participants are invited to discuss important issues in peatland management in Malaysia. The participants will also discuss policies required to support sustainable peatland management, which would involve economic and awareness activities that are important to support sustainable peatland management.
