The gorgeous Thale Noi Peat Swamp Forest in Phatthalung, Thailand is one of the wetlands impacted by biodiversity loss, land-use conversion, unsustainable tourism and more, forcing the local community to seek alternative livelihoods. However, these challenges are not enough to keep the passionate local community down. At the helm of the movement to conserve the “small sea” of Phatthalung is the Thale Noi Wetland Foundation.
